Bitcoin is a digital currency known as a "cryptocurrency." Bitcoin should be thought of as money or gold. The benefits of Bitcoin are many, including the ability to send money anywhere as quickly and simply as an e-mail, the transfer fees are cheap, and you can send this "digital cash" semi-anonymously. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies do raise legal implications that every attorney should be aware of. This program will help lawyers identify the legal issues and provide strategies for protecting the legal interests of clients who use Bitcoin.
