Partner John Farnan practices primarily in the areas of insurance coverage, defense of directors’ and officers’ liability claims, personal injury, premises liability, professional liability, commercial litigation and appellate practice. John has a proven track record of trial success in a myriad of serious and complex cases, successfully defending law firms from malpractice claims and insurance companies in coverage disputes. Even so, he treats his clients’ resources like he would those of his own family business. Away from the office, John enjoys time with his wife and six children and coaching CYO girls’ basketball. In his 25+ year basketball coaching career, John has been the head coach of three girls’ CYO city championship teams.

Throughout Dave’s career he has represented clients in almost every state court in Ohio and arbitrated before the American Arbitration Association. Participating in more than 30 trials, countless arbitration hearings and mediations, the majority of Dave’s practice is as defense counsel for insurance companies, their insureds, manufacturers, trucking companies, railroads, utility companies, landlords, small business owners, general contractors and subcontractors in such trades as plumbing, HVAC, masonry, concrete, roofing, electrical, excavation, paving, framing, and geothermal. In fact, Dave’s peers have designated him a “Super Lawyer” since 2012 for his expertise in handling Construction, Real Estate and Environmental litigation throughout Ohio.
When Dave isn’t working, he spends time with his family and friends. To relax, Dave enjoys playing golf and tennis, going to movies, riding roller coasters, and watching baseball.

In addition to litigation, she also manages trademark and copyright applications and prosecutions for the firm and has advised clients on insurance coverage matters.
